Regulations Enforced with Regard to Schengen Visa

If you have been issued Schengen Visa, then you are free to pass through and stay in any of the Schengen nations for a period not more than three months in a six-monthly period. The Schengen Countries are Austria, Estonia, Greece, Latvia, Netherlands, Slovakia, Switzerland, Belgium, Finland, Hungary, Iceland, Lithuania, Norway, Slovenia, Czech Republic,                France, Italy, Luxembourg, Poland, Spain, Denmark, Germany, Malta, Portugal, Sweden and Liechtenstein. All these countries, apart from Norway, Switzerland, Iceland and Liechtenstein are members of European Union.
All thanks to the Schengen Contract, border checks have ceased between the member countries. Land traffic is no longer delayed; road, rail and air travellers no longer have to get their identity checked at the time of crossing border posts.
The citizens of countries which are subject to the Schengen visa requirements who wish to travel to the Schengen nations for the purpose of leisure or tourism or business are simply needed to get a single Schengen Visa from the Embassy/Consulate of the Schengen State they are embarking on visiting first.
You need to submit all the documents that include Schengen Visa application form, passport with required validity, the document specifying the purpose of visit, confirmed hotel accommodation or any other evidence of stay, sufficient funds of existence during stay in Schengen territory, proof of Schengen insurance. It must be noted that even though you need only common Schengen Visa for several countries, to be on safer side, you must have with you your passport, insurance Schengen certificate and other identification proof.
